This past Sunday Diana and I had our first race of the season (for a full race schedule see previous post) and it was HOT. At 5 a.m. when the alarm went off it was already 84 degrees outside and the temp continued to climb as the start of the race drew near. When I dropped Diana off at 9:45 a.m. it as already 93...I now completely understand why the race was call The Hottest Half. Even though it was hot it was a great race and Diana and I added another shiny medal to our collection. Only 4 more races to go until the Big Race - White Rock Marathon.
